Expat Connection Bratislava

The Expat Connection Bratislava project was launched in 2024 by the international consulting company BELKIN & BELKINA s.r.o., which has been providing comprehensive support to foreigners in Slovakia since 2009.

For every individual, immigration — that is, moving to live permanently in another country — is inherently a stressful situation, regardless of the circumstances, whether it was planned in advance or forced. The first thing an immigrant usually tries to do is to find familiar products, services, and other necessary goods at the level they are accustomed to, in order to feel comfortable in a new place.

​

The foreign community in Bratislava is growing, and it delights and inspires us to create engaging events that are eagerly attended by foreigners living in Slovakia, as well as neighboring Austria, Hungary, and the Czech Republic.

​

The primary goal of the Expat Connection Bratislava project is to provide comprehensive support for small entrepreneurs — foreigners who, after moving to Slovakia, start or continue their business activities, offering services and goods across various sectors of the economy, at the level and in the language familiar to the expat community.

​

Later, the idea emerged to create an interesting space with events, including educational ones, where foreigners could feel comfortable, like at home, speak the same language, discuss issues that concern all of us in the immigration experience, and simply enjoy spending time.

In the future, project participants can look forward not only to exhibitions but also to conferences, seminars, and training sessions. Stay tuned for our announcements!
